Bobby Daiger, 61, of Akron, left this world peacefully surrounded by his immediate family on May 31, 2021.
Born in Dennison, OH on October 25, 1959, Bobby was a machinist, a welder and a Jack of all Trades kind of man. He enjoyed many things in life such as cooking, grilling, fishing, music, movies and margaritas. He also enjoyed playing Keno, scratch offs and the occasional trip to the Casino. Bobby loved social gatherings with friends and family and was well known for his ornery sense of humor. Anyone that met Bobby soon found out that his greatest joy in life was being a proud father and grandfather as he never missed a chance to brag on his beloved children and grandchildren.
Bobby is survived by his loving companion Nancy Baker. He will be greatly missed by his loving children; Bobbie (Craig) White, Jessica Bowersox and Brad (Amy) Bowersox; as well as their mother Judy Daiger. He leave his legacy behind with his grandchildren; Harlow, Mason, Kali, Chloe, Evan Ben, Mayella and Eli. He is also survived by his mother Diana Harshey. Along with his beloved furbabies Lucy Lou and Kikki (Ding Dong), he also leaves to mourn, some of his closest friends Ron and Barb Campbell and their family, Robin Marsh and a great number of other friends and relatives as well.
Per Bobby's wishes there will be no services. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date where condolences and memories may be expressed to the family. The family wishes to thank Summa Hospice for all of their care and compassion, especially Kris RN.
Cremation is taking place at Area Cremation Group, in care of Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St, Akron, OH.
