Margaret "Marge" Nina Labbe, 80, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on May 8, 2022. Marge entered this world on March 19, 1942, in Cleveland, OH, born to Mathias and Mildred Klekker.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert P. Labbe; sons, Matt (Jennifer) Labbe, and Jonathan (Debrah) Labbe; and grandchildren Jacob, Owen, Dylan, Raena and Quinn.
Marge lived a life of service beginning as a sister of the Humility of Mary where she started teaching first grade. Upon moving to Akron, she began a more than 25-year service as a volunteer at Akron Children's Hospital. Later in life she joined a group of passionate faith leaders in establishing The Community of St. Peter in Cleveland. All along she took great pride in sewing and baking, hobbies that allowed her creativity to take many forms. Her greatest passion was that of a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Marge had the incredible gift of joy and love which she shared with everyone with whom she had contact. She had the ability to impact the lives of anyone she spoke with from family to friends, and the servers at their favorite restaurants. Through the many challenges that life presented to her, she fought with such tenacity and perseverance and was an inspiration to all.
