Christine Scott

Christine Louise Newsom-Scott, age 60, passed away on December 4, 2021. She was born in Akron, Ohio on December 24, 1960, to the late Robert and Nancy Newsom.
Christine is survived by her dedicated husband of 41 years, David Scott.

She is also survived by her children, Jeremy Scott with wife Briana, Jamie Galloway with husband Paul, and Starla Nepsa with husband Josh; grandchildren Aidan, Tyler, Natalie, Jacob, Riley, and Lucas.

Christine was a stay at home mother and she enjoyed spending time with her family as much as possible, her hobbies were crocheting, baking, gardening, soap operas and she loved her sweets number one being her fudge pops. Christine was very warm hearted and had a smile that would light up your heart. She enjoyed life and embraced it as a party with her free spirited personality. It was hard not to be her friend. Christine will be missed everyday.

Christine's wish was to be cremated and the family will hold a celebration of her life on December 18, 2021 at Burntwood Tavern in Cuyahoga Falls, 2291 Riverfront Pkwy, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 from 12 pm - 4 pm in the main dining room.

Should family or friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to David Scott and family.
