Woodson Thompson

September 12, 1950 — June 22, 2019

Woodson Mark Thompson ('Mark'), age 68 of Streetsboro, lost his battle to pancreatic cancer June 22, 2019. Mark has been the owner and operator of Streetsboro's Action Auto Body since 1980. He was also a well known stock car driver with his car 'T-1'. He loved to race, restore tractors and trucks, go to breakfast with his friends, and watch his son Tyler race his own stock car 'T-2'. He is survived by his loving children Gregory (Michelle) Thompson, Gary (Megara) Thompson, Monica (Ed) Stackpole, Chris (Joanne) Quesenberry, Taylor Thompson & Tyler Thompson, as well as his grandchildren Zoe, Ethan, and Hailey. A celebration of Mark's life to remember his legacy will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at The Overlook Grill in Kent, Ohio between 5-8 pm. His family requests that guests wear maroon, Mark's favorite color. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
