Weylon James Parker

Nov 3, 2019 — Nov 3, 2026

Weylon James Parker, 7, of Norton, Ohio passed away peacefully after going to sleep on the eve of his 7th birthday. He woke up in perfect eternity running for the first time the streets of gold into the arms of and singing praises to his Lord Jesus Christ in celebration.

Weylon was a very loved brother, son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was best known for his awesome smile, contagious laugh and his love for music.

On earth he was bound in his body due to complications from HIE and cerebral palsy but it was his parent's greatest joy getting to care for him in all the ways he needed and all he ever knew was love. Now he is whole and healed and free in his perfect eternal body in heaven.

He most enjoyed spending time with his family, Sundays at church, listening to his favorite music, walks outside, sitting on his parents laps on the front porch of his home, silly noises and his favorite toys. His greatest enjoyment was his family, who will forever treasure the pure joy and love he emanated.

Weylon is survived by his loving siblings, William, Norah and baby brother Ellis, his loving parents, Cheyenne and Isaak and his many family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his uncle Ryan Emery, great grandfathers David Emery and James Parker and great grandmothers Wilma Kungl and Corrine Emery.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Weylon's birthday and life by attending calling hours from 10-11:30 on November 9th at Northside Christian Church in Wadsworth Ohio and a service will follow.

Weylon will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his beautiful life and testimony and the light and joy he brought to this world. His memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

"Now we don't want you, my brothers, to be in any doubt about those who "fall asleep" in death, or to grieve over them like men who have no hope. After all, if we believe that Jesus died and rose again from death, then we can believe that God will just as surely bring with Jesus all who are "asleep" in him."- 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
