On August 13 at the break of dawn Vincent A. Varrato died at the Hospice Care Center where he was never alone. As a tribute to his caring and generous spirit his grateful family kept a constant vigil. He was born and raised on North Hill in Akron where he in turn married and raised his own family before moving to Cuyahoga Falls. Vince started his career in the construction field as a bricklayer and later retired from the State Architects Office. Preceded in death by his parents Vincenzo and Angeline and wife of 37 years Gloria he leaves behind a legacy of his selfless gentle unconditional love to his daughters Laura (Paul) Sheeks of Silver Lake and Lisa Hilling of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Andrew Alyssa and Audrey Sheeks and Cameron Catrina and Mason Hilling as well as sisters Eleanor Pryor and Beverly Reder. Special thanks to all family friends and health care providers who bestowed any form of care and kindness upon him throughout his illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday August 16 2007 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 1905 Portage Trail. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
