Vickie Garn Wheeler

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Vickie Garn Wheeler on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. She passed in peace after a year long battle with cancer.

Born May 29, 1962, Vickie grew up in Wadsworth, Ohio. She worked at Summa Health for 34 years in Environmental Services. Vickie was always kind and compassionate with patients and co-workers. She loved music and spending time with her family.

Vickie is survived by her parents Joseph (Becky Hiner) and Diane Garn; children, Christopher and Monica; sister, Cindy (Steve) Homolak; brother, Mike (Jen) Garn and loving partner, Brandon Erbse.

Funeral Service will be 4:00pm Tuesday, Oct. 20 at Hummel Funeral Home, 2800 W. Market St. Fairlawn, Ohio. Calling hours will be immediately following from 4:30-7:00pm. A private burial will be held at a later time.
