Timothy McQuillan, son of Michael Joseph McQuillan and Kathleen Rosen of Youngstown, passed away comfortably at home after 53 years of sharing love, laughter, and countless memories. He filled our lives with joy and warmth. He had a unique ability to make ordinary moments, extraordinary with his humor, kindness, and generosity.
Those who knew Tim knew how passionate he was about football, music and golf. Whether he was hitting the balls at the golf range or driving to a new city to attend a Phish concert, he always did it with a smile.
Tim's unwavering support and compassion touched everyone who crossed his path and his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us, though he's no longer physically with us. His spirit lives on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
Tim leaves behind his wonderful sister Christina, his loving aunt Amy and Uncle Jim and me, his partner in life, Rowlanda. We will all miss him deeply, but we cherish the moments we've created together.
A private funeral for close family and friends will be held in Akron, Ohio at Hummel Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest with his mother at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio on July 18th, 2025. A celebration of life to truly honor him and the way he would want - surrounded by music, laughter, family, and friends will be held in Akron, Ohio for all who would like to attend (Details to be determined).
In lieu of flowers consider doing something Tim would enjoy - catch a game, hit the golf course or crank up Phish songs in his honor.
