Thomas Petty

Thomas Robert Petty, age 69 years, passed away on April 11, 2021. He was born on December 29, 1951 in Barberton to the late Charles Eugene and Mary Margaret (Pyles) Petty. Tom was a 1970 graduate of Barberton High School. He worked at Seiberling Tire and Rubber Company for many years.
Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Roy and Jessie Pyles; paternal grandparents, Charles and Cynthia Petty; and beloved aunt and uncle, Ruby and Andy Bota; he is survived by siblings, Roy Petty and Kimberly (Chip) Duncan-Nutter; 1 niece and 3 nephews; beloved cousins, Jessica Opyoke and Sherry Kittle and good family friend, Steve Jones.
Pastor Tina Nees will officiate the memorial service, 1:00pm Wednesday at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 211 3rd St. NW, Barberton, Ohio 44203.
