Thomas A. Nichols 83 was escorted by the angels that appeared to him prior to his death into the care of our Lord Jesus Christ who he loved and served. He was preceded in death by beloved wife Dorothy parents George B. and Edris Rose Nichols brother Robert and lifetime friend Bud Gosser. Left to cherish countless wonderful memories Sons George (Linda) of Georgia Bob (Kay) Mark Nichols; Daughter Susan (Rev. John) Akins; Sister Esther Adams of Newark Ohio; Grandchildren Scott Kristen and Zachary; one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Also many neighbors and friends who loved him dearly. He served as an Army paratrooper in the Philippines during WWII proudly defending the country he loved on the frontlines of battle. To his family and friends he was a Giant of a man leaving a legacy of kindness compassion generosity and wisdom. In his short time of being a Christian he sought to be like Jesus and treated everyone better than himself. The world has lost a Great and true Hero but Heaven has gained a Mighty Man who will go on to serve his Lord in the Heavenly Kingdom. Thanks Dad for everything...we'll see you again soon!
