Thomas Howard Gosorn
January 12, 1939 - May 5, 2022
Thomas Gosorn, 83 of Akron passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 5 surrounded by his family. He battled Alzheimer's dementia for many years.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, JoAnn, parents Ralph W. and Ida (Lukosavich) Gosorn as well as the loving family dog, Shelby.
He is survived by sons, Ralph (Joy) Gosorn of Cuyahoga Falls and Thomas B. Gosorn of Green, daughters Kim (Doug) Heaton of Cleveland TN and Sharon Myers of Akron who had taken loving care of him.
He is also survived by grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah) Gosorn, Brett (Yulia) Gosorn, Scott Gosorn, Daniel (Cheda) Heaton, Jennifer Sherman, Brittany Sheets, Breanna Gosorn and 3 great granddaughters.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Western Reserve and all of their kind, caring and compassionate staff that cared for him.
Per Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be any calling hours or service.
