Thomas Cartwright

Thomas Dale Cartwright, age 72, passed away on January 12, 2022. He was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Dale and Mina Cartwright. Thomas married Pamela (Wiandt) Cartwright of Akron, Ohio on August 17, 1974 at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church in Akron.

Along with his wife, Tom is survived by his children, Christine Pascoe (Justin) and James Cartwright (Shanna), sister Denise Weidele, and grandchildren Anna and Ryan. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, David Cartwright.

Tom was a lifelong member of First Grace United Church of Christ, a Navy Veteran and a devoted father and husband.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, from 4 to 7 pm at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange Street, Akron. The family requests guests in attendance be symptom-free and wear a mask.
