Theodore Bickley

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Dr. Theodore Grant Bickley ''Ted'' passed away quietly on Saturday October 23 2004. Born June 9 1927 Ted's early life was spent on Kelley's Island. A graduate of North Central College Naperville IL Ted attended Evangelical Theological Seminary following his graduation. He received a master's degree in Philosophy of Christianity from Oberlin College. He ministered at multiple churches until he completed his doctorate of Philosophy at Boston University Graduate School in 1971 and pursued his ultimate goal of teaching. He was a respected Philosophical Theologian and professor of philosophy at Kent State University from 1966 until he retired in 1987. He is survived by his wife Marian nee Wedd whom he married June 10 1951. Also survived by children and spouses; Ted (Bev) Bickley of Copley Janice (Lew) Page of Canton grandsons; Ted (Kelly) Bickley and Scott Bickley. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday October 26 2004 at 11 am at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Rev. David Loar officiating. Interment in the Copley Cemetery.
