VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTEThelma Maxine'Micki' Ladich passed away peacefully July 26 2009 at the Copley Health Center. Micki was born on January 28 1925 to A.A. Cook and Bessie Brinegar in Pineville W. Va. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sisters Tootsi Mary and Irene and her brother Jay. She is survived by her sister Ruby and brothers Boyde and Buddy who all reside in W. Va. Micki leaves behind her loving husband of 44 years Ernest Ladich of Copley OH who had been her caregiver these past two difficult years. She also leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law Nancy and John DiBona of Copley; grandchildren Deneen Hankins of Dacusville S.C. Anthony DiBona of Las Vegas NV Alicia Hannah of Broadview Heights OH Tina Hamilton of Woodruff S.C. and Tony DiBona of Randolph Twp. OH; great-grandchildren Briana Dustine Tori Hyley Angelina Brooke Leanna Blaze Johnathon and Alivia. Micki lived in the Akron area since 1944. She was president of the Hungarian Club for nine years active with Meals-On-Wheels the Breast Cancer society Copley Women's Club and Copley Bandstand. Micki was past High Priestess of Lady Shrine Kadesh Court #19 and active with the Shriner's Children's Hospital fund-raising. Calling hours will take place on Friday July 31 2009 at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service will take place at 9:30 AM on Saturday August 1 at the funeral home with Rev. Becki Verbridge officiating. A private family committal service will take place immediately following at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers Micki wished donations be made to Tadmor Shrine 3000 Krebs Dr. Akron OH 44319.
