Teri Lee Davis

Teri Lee Davis, age 70, passed away at her home in Cuyahoga Falls after a long illness. She was born on June 11, 1955 to Martha and Harold "Bud" Davis. Teri graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and from the University of Akron. She worked for many years as a secretary at Summit County Community Support Services, which provides comprehensive, coordinated care for Summit County residents with mental health and substance abuse problems. She also helped her father manage his sporting goods business.

Teri was a compassionate and dedicated caregiver, caring for her ailing mother and later cousin, Vicki, making it possible for them to continue living at home during lengthy illnesses. In recent years, Teri worked at Leonora Hall, an assisted living facility providing a supportive home for women of all faiths. Teri helped mentally disabled older women handle their personal needs while enriching their lives with stimulating activities and companionship. Leonora Hall was operated by the Sisters of Divine Charity until the facility closed at the end of 2025.

Teri leaves behind her brother, Victor, who lives in New Jersey with his wife, Susanna. She also had close relationships with Victor's children Christopher and Rachel. Teri was very close to her cousin Valerie Pietro and Val's family. Teri also leaves behind close friends with whom she enjoyed celebrating her 70th birthday.

A memorial service for Teri will be conducted at the Hummel Funeral Home, 2800 West Market Street, Fairlawn, Ohio. The service will take place Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Participants may participate in-person or on the livestream below.
