Teddy Greathouse

Teddy Calvin Greathouse 66 of Akron passed peacefully on April 10 2013 after his battle with cancer. Ted graduated from Garfield High and worked for the City of Akron Water Dept. from which he retired after 30 yrs. He was a life-long resident of Akron. In his spare time Ted enjoyed gardening walking the local trails nature and spending time with close family and friends. Ted lived a full life with his wife Terrie; daughters Lorie Bunn Tiffany Magnus and son Charles (Sarah) Greathouse; siblings Roger Fran (Chuck) Croft Bev Greathouse Gary (Susan) Greathouse and Cat ('My Man' Pete) Magazzeni; his many grandchildren and friends. Family and friends of Ted and Terrie are invited to gather at Ted's home for a celebration of his life this Saturday Apr. 20 2013 Please arrive from 1-5 pm. There will be a cookout in his honor and all are welcome to bring a dish especially one Ted may have been fond of. As you all may be aware Ted loved telling his stories so if you would like bring a story you remember and share some of your own memories of Ted and of course BYOB.
