Steve
Kelleman
Apr 7, 1941 — Aug 18, 2026
Steve Kelleman, 85, passed away on August 18, 2026. He was a talented craftsman who could turn a piece of wood, a shovel of concrete, or a pile of bricks into something beautiful and useful. A skilled finished carpenter and brick mason, Steve proudly worked at Goodyear for 35 years.
But his greatest accomplishment was being "Pop." His four children, Lisa (Grandson Seth), Laurel (Brian Plummer; Grandson Brayton), Todd (Felisha; Granddaughter Chara; Grandson Kyle) and Kristine (Keith Michael), were so very proud of their dad. He was a strong man, a devoted father and someone who could fix or build just about anything.
Steve and his beloved wife, Joyce, shared 64 years of marriage, celebrating their anniversary on September 7, and lived in the same home for all 64 years. They both loved Copley and the life they built there together.
Steve loved hunting, the outdoors, and especially the warmth of Florida. He collected antique bicycles, enjoyed riding in parades with his family, repaired and painted cars, built barns and faithfully fed suet to "his" birds. Steve found so much joy in his cabin, especially in the adventures, memories, and laughter shared by everyone who was lucky enough to visit. He also loved calling "five" in bid euchre and taking great pride in beating the opposing team.
His family will always treasure their camping adventures, packed six people into one pop-up camper with the famous rule: no one was allowed to move! From traveling out West to Myrtle Beach and other destinations - those trips created memories that will last forever.
Steve taught his family the value of hard work, dedication, family and pride in what you create. He built many things with his hands, but his greatest legacy is the family and memories he leaves behind.
He was Pop. He was a craftsman. He was a devoted husband and father. He was home. And he will be loved and missed forever.
