Sandra Ann Royer

Beloved Wife, Mother, and Friend, Sandra Ann Royer, born April 19th, 1954, passed peacefully at home in the company of her family on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 after enduring complications from a series of strokes.

Sandra was a 1972 graduate of Norton High School and earned her RN from the St. Thomas School of Nursing in 1995, also possessing several additional Nursing Certifications and an associate's degree in Transportation Management.

She is survived by her husband Daniel, children Colin and Heather, siblings Aimee Lelonek and Mike Thomas, nieces and nephews Russel, Evan, Sara, Sean, Lisa, Linda, and Veronica, closest friend Sandy, cousins too numerous to list, and her beloved ridgeback pups Ziggy and Zoey. Sandra was a beloved friend to many and a substitute mom for her son-in-law Aaron and many of her children's friends. While Sandra did not have any grandchildren of her own, she had been a foster-grandmother, as well as a loving figure in the lives of the children of friends and extended family members.

Sandra's final wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes eventually scattered in one of her favorite spots in the Caribbean. Rather than prompt viewing and services, the family is planning a Remembrance of Life and Memorial Dinner in the next few weeks at one of her favorite restaurants that will be open to all family and friends who wish to attend.
