Roy Aderhold

Roy H. Aderhold, age 64, passed away on October 8, 2023. He was born on December 19, 1958 in Massillon, Ohio to birth parents, Roy and Mary Ann Parker and raised by Lester and Mildred Decker, whom all preceded him in death. He was a proud father and grandfather and loved his dog, Star. Roy always put others before himself without hesitation. He worked at Yellow Freight for 25 years and always worked overtime if needed to provide for his family. Roy was a very hardworking man who always put his family first and was a self taught handyman. He was a quiet man who kept to himself but you always knew you could turn to him for assistance or advice.

Preceded in death by his wife, Judith; Roy is survived by Lisa (Gary) Dungan, David Aderhold, Kelly (Josh) Maze; grandson, Jackson Maze; and cousin Brenda Simmons.

Calling hours will be 10am-12pm Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, Ohio 44321. Burial will follow at Copley Cemetery.
