Rosel Thur

Rosel Thur (Oma), 74, of Green, passed away June 14th after complications from a massive stroke. She was born September 19th 1940 in Lutenbach, Germany to Ernest & Karolina Volz. She married the love of her life Andy, August 22nd 1959 in Wiebelskirchen, Germany. She came to America speaking no English, but her teacher was the television. Cooking, dancing & English were learned from Campbell soup commercials and Elvis Presley. Survived by children Andy, David (Tammy), Caroline (Cary); grandchildren Brittany, Brandon and Michael. The family would like to THANK everyone at Summa (City & Barberton) & Pebble Creek for the GREAT care they gave mom (Oma) Thank you Chris, Cis, Steve, family and Friends for all your support. In honoring moms wishes, cremation has taken place.
