Rosa Snyder

Rosa L. Snyder 84 of Akron went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday February 16 2013. Rosa was born March 14 1928 in Akron. Growing up Rosa attended the Chapel at Brown and Vine St. which today is known as the Chapel at University Park. She graduated from Buchtel High School in 1946. Rosa retired from Riviera Bowling Lanes after 25 years. Rosa enjoyed riding horses and was a member of the Bar Nothin Club along with her husband Earl. Rosa was very intelligent creative and crafty. She was an avid seamstress always sewing and altering clothing items for her family when in need. She is survived by children Rebecca Goodson William (loving daughter in law Laura) Snyder Cathy Hardacre; grandchildren Todd Goodson Sean (Stephanie) Snyder Carrie (Steve) Silket Jaclyn Hardacre; seven great grandchildren Dakotta Meaghan and Jorden Snyder and Hannah and Hailey Silket and Haley and Tyler Goodson. Her husband Earl H. Snyder precedes Rosa in death as well as parents Floyd and Carrie Douglas son in laws Larry Goodson and Jack Hardacre. Visitation will be held on Monday February 25 2013 from 11 AM - 1 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Copley. Funeral services will follow at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Roma officiating. Cremation will follow; private interment will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
