Robert Linton

Robert Franklin Linton a lifelong resident of Akron died February 8 2008. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Deborah Cook United States Court of Appeals Judge sister Judith Linton son Robert F. Linton Jr. daughters Christine McComb Dr. Anne Linton and Mary Miller and six grandchildren Katie Kristen Cami Calvin Emily and Evan. Mr. Linton was the managing partner of the Roderick Linton law firm for the past thirty years. His community activities included Collegscholars Zips Advancement Council University of Akron Foundation and the Ohio-Erie Canal Way Coalition. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday February 11 2008 at 12 NOON at St. Vincent Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to The University of Akron Foundation Akron OH 44325-2603 or the Ohio-Erie Canal Way Coalition 520 S. Main St. Akron 44311.
