Robert M. (Bob) Kovach, age 86, went Home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, on Monday, January 24, 2022.
Bob was born December 18, 1935 to Michael and Elizabeth Kovach. He lived most of his life in Akron, Ohio.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from the Ohio Edison Electric Company after 40 years of faithful service.
Bob married the love of his life, Frances, on June 1, 1998. They lived in Boliver, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and only sibling, his sister Elizabeth.
He is survived by wife, Frances A. Kovach, son, Michael (Jenny) Riddle and family, daughters Holly (Tony) Farelli and Kathy (Pat) Maloney and family, longtime friends Dave and Dana Horner, and a host of friends and loved ones.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Bob's life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in North Canton, Ohio. Visitation will take place from 12:30pm till 1:00pm, with the service starting at 1:00pm.
Bob will be laid to rest in Westlawn Cemetery in Canton, Ohio.
