VIEW PICTURE TRIBUTE The most devoted family man Robert A. Franze 77 passed on peacefully to his heavenly reward on September 30 2006 with his family at his side. Our Dad loved word searches whittling and feeding his beloved birds. He was so proud when the little sparrows built a nest in his back yard. He loved watching Jeopardy and the Wheel of Fortune and was an avid fan of the Indians. He would fix anything and was available in a moment's notice to help any m ember of his family. He loved to cook and was the best 'chopper' around. Robert loved his family. His wife children and grandchildren were the most precious jewels in his life. He devoted his entire life to his family always putting them first. He was the most caring and concerned father and a totally awesome 'Grandpa.' He loved playing April fool's jokes! He was the best at getting his family involved with the yearly mystery Christmas gift as his family grew up. Born on August 3 1929 Robert was a life-long resident of Akron. He retired from Alcon Tool Company in 1991 as a master machinist. He never missed a day of work and was a loyal and dedicated employee. He was a member of St. Sebastian's Church. Robert lost the most important person in his life with the passing of his beloved wife of 50 years Clara in 2005. He is survived by his devoted daughters Valerie (James) Flowers Deborah Franze Laura (Joseph) Sladic and Linda (Joel) Ford. He was also blessed with six grandchildren he adored Jeffrey Jennifer (John) Matthew Angela Jared and Danielle. He is survived by his little brother Donald (June) Franze. He was preceded in death by parents Pasquale and Rose and sister Mary. Pa you were the BEST OF THE BEST. We thank you for everything you have done for us. We feel your love and you will ALWAYS be with us. Every time we see a little sparrow we will think of your kindness. A Funeral Service will be held Monday October 2 2006 11am at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. Friends may call Monday one hour before the service.
