VIEW MEMORIAL PHOTO TRIBUTE Richard 'Dick' Tettelbach 83 passed away May 14 after a ten-year battle with cancer. Born in 1923 in Milwaukee Wisconsin Dick moved to the Akron area in his youth and graduated from University School in Shaker Heights in 1941. His undergraduate degree at Princeton University was interrupted by World War II and he went to serve his country in the German theater of war. Dick returned stateside after the war and graduated 'cum laude' from Princeton in 1948. He spent his career in advertising writing copy and managing accounts for agencies in the Cincinnati and the Cleveland area and eventually established his own agency Sales Development Associates in 1977. He was a 32nd degree mason and a member of the Rotary Club of Akron. Dick and his wife were active in their church communities both in Akron and in their retirement home of Venice Florida. Faith and family played a foremost role in his life. Dick was preceded in death by infant son James. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 58 years Wanda sons Richard Jr. (Mary) Geoffrey (Judith) William (Lana) and daughter Karen (Christopher) Downing. He is also survived by sister Suzanne (Richard) Colle as well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Saturday May 19 2007 at NOON with calling hours from 10:30 until NOON at First Congregational of Akron 292 E. Market St. Akron OH 44308 with Rev.
