VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Richard J. Inama 85 of Akron died March 30 2006 at The Village of St. Edwards. Richard was born on October 2 1920 in Akron OH. Dick was a life resident of Akron and retired as an Asst. VP of Customer Relations at National City Bank in Akron. He was a member of St. Hilary Church and the K of C. As an avid athlete he was known as 'The Cat' in baseball and was inducted into the Akron Softball Hall of Fame. Nicknamed 'Arnie' he enjoyed golfing with Bob Chuck and Carl. Dick also excelled in bowling in the All Star League. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Marie and Anthony Inama; brothers Robert and Charles. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Jane; sons John (Joanne) J. Inama and Gregory (Shelley) M. Inama; daughter Kathleen (Larry) A. Staats; grandchildren Christine John Stacy Cory Amy and Ryan; great-grandchildren Max Madeline Nicholas and John; sisters Marjorie (Carl) Lewis and Lucy McShaffrey. Dick will be most remembered for his sparkling personality and warm smile. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday April 3 9:30 AM at St. Hilary Catholic Church 2750 W. Market Street. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Road on Sunday April 2 from 3-6 PM.
