Phyllis Marks

View Memorial Photo TributePhyllis Marks 86 died June 30 2008. Phyllis grew up in Akron Ohio and graduated from Akron North high school in 1939. She worked at Goodrich Tire and Rubber Company during the 1940s and she married Charles B. Marks in 1949. Phyllis was an active member of both St. Hilary's and St. Sebastian's Catholic Churches. Phyllis was a member of the women's group Witan in Akron and also a member of Fairlawn Country Club where she enjoyed golf and tennis. Phyllis is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Tom and Lisa; and her grandchildren Eveline and John. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday July 7 at 11:00 AM at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home (Copley Chapel) 3475 Copley Rd. on Sunday July 6 from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
