Patricia was born on September 20, 1952, at People's Hospital in Akron, Ohio, to John and Wanda Lepkowski.
She attended St. Mary High School, where she met her lifelong friend Mary, a friendship that remained close throughout her life. She later attended the University of Akron where she excelled at computer programming.
Patricia devoted many years of service working as a secretary with the Akron Police Department and later with Akron Public Schools, where she retired in 2023. In addition to this she volunteered in the cafeteria at St Sebastion where she also attended church for several years. Her work ethic, reliability, and kindness left a lasting impression on those she worked with.
Patricia is survived by her sons, Chris Hartlaub (Kim), Michael "Mick" Hartlaub (Harmony), and Scott Hartlaub (Sarah); her beloved granddaughter, Etta Hartlaub; and her brothers, Donald Lepkowski (Becky) and John Lepkowski (Judy). She is also survived by extended family and many friends who will miss her deeply.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents John and Wanda, her life partner, Francis Kuebler, and her brother Tom Lepkowski.
She found her greatest happiness in life's simple pleasures-taking day trips with Francis, tending to her garden, and spending time with her immediate and extended family, especially during the holiday season. She greatly cherished her dogs, Daisy, Dagmar, and Boss, who were constant companions and brought her great comfort and joy.
Patricia bravely battled Parkinson's Disease for several years, facing her illness with quiet strength, resilience, and grace.
Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place, and a graveside memorial service and interment will be held on April 10th at 1pm at Holy Cross Cemetary in Akron, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, in Patricia's memory.
Patricia will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to family, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life. Her presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
