Pamela Monaghan, 81, of Akron, OH passed away peacefully with family by her side on 9/4/25 she was born on April 23, 1944 in Alliance, OH. Pamela moved to Florida with her family as a child. She dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a registered nurse at Tampa General Hospital for over 35 years before retiring. Her gentle spirit and compassion touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues over the decades. Beyond her career, Pamela found joy in creativity-especially sewing and beading, hobbies through which she expressed both her talent and love.
She is survived by her beloved children: Allison Walker of Brooksville, FL., Jennifer Perkins (Gary) of Tampa, FL., Stephen Sewell (Lynda) of Loraine, TX. and Joey Hurst of Akron, OH. Pamela was a proud Me'me're to 8 grandchildren and a great-me'me're to 14 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind siblings, Thomas Monaghan and Kimberly Ball.
