Oscar Breit

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Oscar Frank Breit 93 of Copley died March 10 2006 at the Gardens of Western Reserve in Cuyahoga Falls. Oscar was born on August 13 1912 in Vienna Austria. He graduated from West High School in 1933. He was a passionate cabinetmaker carpenter and woodworker all of his life. Oscar enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. When working at Weather-Seal Products Oscar invented a device that prevented varnish from entering the interlock of windows. He was a founding member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Copley. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Breit. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Mary; children F. Daniel (Annette) Breit of Stow; grandchildren Dan (Karen) Breit of Cincinnati OH Wendy (Clare) Thomas of Columbus OH Allison (Steve) Smith of Cincinnati OH; great grandchildren Will Breit Grant Breit Emily Thomas Hannah Thomas and Isabelle Thomas. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Gardens of Western Reserve for their care and kindness. Also a special thanks to Norma Benton for her love and care. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 14 2006 10:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church 1686 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd. Interment in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
