Nicholas Berberi

Nicolas Joseph Berberi of Akron passed away suddenly January 25 2005. He was born in Beirut Lebanon on January 1 1927. He retired from his advertisement business in 1985 and resided in Akron since. He was a member of West Hill Baptist Church of Akron. He will be missed by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Samira; daughters Gilda (Gus) Khayyat Katia (Assaad) Abumrad of Beirut Lebanon Elham (Steve) Flaherty of Charlotte NC; son Nick (Anne) Berberi of Walnut Creek CA; grandchildren Fuad (Elizabeth) Khayyat Rana (Aaron) Lepp Zeina and Gabriel Abumrad Matthew and Katia Berberi Victoria Flaherty; and the joy of his life great-granddaughter Mia Rose Khayyat. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 29 2005 10:00 am at West Hill Baptist Church 605 North Revere Road. Private family burial in Glendale Cemetery. Friends may call the Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street on Friday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
