Nancy Bucksar

Nancy Ann (Miller) Bucksar passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023, at her home in Copley, Ohio with her daughter Bernadette and grandson Anthony by her side.

A resident of Copley most of her life, Nancy's heart was most full when she cooked and baked a full supper at the table for all of her family and friends. She was born on December 13, 1931, in Akron, Ohio, the proud daughter of an Irish immigrant. In 1955 she married the love of her life, Edward E. Bucksar. Through more than 59 years of marriage, Nancy was the loving mother of five children, 14 grandchildren, and many more great-grandchildren. Edward passed away in 2014 and Nancy joyfully joins his side again.

Preceded in death by her husband Edward; parents, Edward P. & Mary (O'Malley) Miller; brothers, Joe, Bill, and Jim Miller; sisters, Rosemary Karam and Bernadette Gibson; grandchild, Nathaniel Richmond.

She is survived by her daughters, Bernadette (Martin) Paridon and Ellen (Gary) Brown; sons, Edward J. (Cheryrl), Timothy (Susan), and James Bucksar; brother, John Miller; and many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Nancy was a grandmother to everyone and was always willing to craft, cook, make coffee, or pray the Rosary for anyone of her children's and grandchildren's friends. Her crystal blue eyes, beaming smile, sharp wit, and loving heart will be missed by all of those who were apart of her extended family.

Calling hours will be 4-7pm Tuesday at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, Ohio 44321. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 6th St. NW Barberton, Ohio 44203. Interment to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donations may be made to the St. Augustine Endowment Fund.
