Nancy Barrett

Nancy J. Barrett 77 passed away peacefully on August 7 2007. Nancy was born in and was a lifelong resident of Akron. She was preceeded in death by her husband John 'Dick' Barrett and is survived by son Richard 'Rocky'Barrett daughter-in-law Jennifer grandsons Nathan Jacob and Adam all of Englewood Colorado numerous nieces and nephews and a great many cherished friends. Nancy was a graduate of Buchtel High School and Ohio Dominican University. A former schoolteacher Nancy was an avid traveler a tireless volunteer - most notably at Akron City Hospital - an occasional gardener and a relentless and exceedingly dangerous card player. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday August 10 2007 9:30 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church 164 W. Market Street. Cremation to follow.
