Mr. Roger Morr

September 3, 1951 — July 13, 2020

Roger Clayton Morr, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home Monday July 13, 2020. Born in Akron, Ohio on September 3, 1951, son of Alice Morr Webster, and raised by his adopted grandmother Clara Morr. He graduated from Northwest High School and attended Kent State University. He worked at Akron General Medical Center and Barberton Citizens, as a surgical physicians assistant for 36 years. After retirement he enjoyed target shooting with his best friends and family. He also enjoyed following his grandchildren in all their sporting events and giving moral support. He spent his younger years coaching his sons and fishing. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially to Cabo San Lucas and meeting up with his fellow timeshare family. He was known to family as Papa Google and he could diagnose, stitch, and treat almost anything. Roger had a passion to do good for other people; especially the downtrodden, and others who needed medical advice and attention. He acheived this with his many wonderful years of service as a cardiac, and other sub-specialties, surgical physicians assistant. He enjoyed all the physicians and people he worked with in medicine, and it was truly a calling for him to be able to do such work. He reached out and touched everybody who he had the opportunity to learn with, to work beside, and respect. God bless you all. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice, grandmother Clara, 2 sisters Louisa and Eleen, and one brother John. He leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years Kellie M Morr, sons Jason (Kester) Morr, John (Kasey) Morr, grandchildren, Jayden, Avery, and soon to be Avalyn Morr, Sisters, Dorothy Hanson, Mary Ann (Dick) Crum, mother and father-in-law, Steven (Joanna) Davis, brothers-in-law Steven II (Lisa) Davis, and Lewis (Kelly) Davis, and many nieces and nephews. Special friends Jim (Debbie) Cox, Tom & Josh Stiles, Becky Woodruff, Al (Jackie) Toth, and uncle & aunt Dave (Debbie) Sebastian. The family would like to thank the Cleveland Clinic Hospice Staff, for all their loving care. Cremation has taken place. His ashes will be spread at all his favorite places, (Cabo San Lucas, Seneca Lake, and Silver Creek Park). A celebration of life will be done in September (details to come soon). "God is still working on me. My story isn’t over yet. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, henceforth there is laid upon up for me a crown of righteousness."
