Michael Anthony Grajzl, 32, was called home to be with the Lord early Thursday, September 10, 2026. Michael was born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Bath, Ohio. He graduated from Revere High school and Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, where he was certified in diesel mechanics.

Michael was an animal lover and a trusting, loving son, brother and friend. Michael had strong faith. He worked hard to come back from a traumatic brain injury sustained in 2012. Michael is finally at peace, surrounded by love and those gone before him (both human and animal).

Michael is survived by parents, Al Grajzl, of Ohio, and Linda Grajzl, of North Carolina. He is survived by siblings Andrea, Jason and Joe; Nieces and nephews Tim, Dakota, Ameena, Laila, Nawel, Amelia, Zoey and Eli, as well as a paternal grandmother, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Hilary Church in Fairlawn on Wednesday, September 16th at 11AM. The family will receive friends one hour before the mass at the church. lieu of flowers please make donations to the Brain Injury Association of Ohio (BIAOH) in his memory. As anyone involved with brain injury knows, there is a huge hole in the system for those like Michael.
