Merilyn Deitle

On June 20, 2025, Merilyn embarked on her heavenly journey, joining her Father "Jesus". She would often share that she was eager to meet him. It was a heartwarming experience to say goodbye, share scripture, and reassure her that her faith had been a guiding light, not just for herself, but for the generations that follow. Through her tireless efforts, she made a profound impact on many lives, showing a special affection for children, be it as a foster mom or nurturing them in the Church nursery. Her remarkable influence will continue to last and be felt.

A Visitation will be held Friday June 27, 2025 at the Hummel Funeral Home located at 2800 W. Market St. FAIRLAWN, OH 44333. From 9:30am-1030am followed by a Funeral Service starting at 10:30 followed by a procession to Hillside Memorial Park located at 1025 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312.
