Mary Lou Menegay

Mary Lou Menegay, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
Mary Lou was born on June 28, 1955 to the late Richard and Mary Menegay in Massillon, Ohio. She grew up in Akron and graduated from East High School. She worked for many years at Summit County Children Services where she retired.
Mary Lou is survived by her siblings, Judy, Rose, Sue, Rick and Bob as well as several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her best friend, Nancy Crawford and her dog, Maggie. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, eating out and cards on Saturday night with the girls. Private services by her family have been held.
