Martha Chaykoski Martha Chaykoski 86 died April 5 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Patrick Meadows. Born and raised in Akron she was the daughter of John and Margaret Kapeluck had three sisters; Mildred Jennie and Julia and five brothers; John Steve Henry Jack and Ted all deceased. She was also predeceased by her husband Fred. Married 52 years they lived in Barberton until his death in 1988. She was employed by Ohio Edison in Barberton for many years was a member of Barberton First Baptist Church and loved gardening and bowling. Other surviving children are her son Alex Chaykoski and his wife Kathy of Freehold NJ and daughter Mary Jane Dunphy and her husband Tom of San Jose CA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Jamie Shears of Akron A.J. Chaykoski of Farmingdale NJ Mary Kay Chaykoski of Spring TX Brad Chaykoski of Tomball TX Eric Dunphy of Campbell CA and Debbie Tarbox of Temple AZ and three great-grandchildren; Corey Chaykoski of Louisville KY Desire and Freddy Chaykoski of Tomball TX. Funeral services Thursday April 8 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd.(COPLEY CHAPEL). Entombment in Greenlawn Memorial Park Pastor Gregory Hogan officiating. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Road TODAY from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service American Heart Association and St. Vincent's Elementary School Fund.
