Marjorie Flesher, age 92, passed away peacefully February 4, 2017. She was born on April 25, 1924 to the late Mae and Julius Spangler. After graduating from Kenmore High School she married her love Dallas Flesher. She was a longtime resident of Copley and Norton and a devoted member of Copley United Methodist Church. Some of her many activities were Girl Scout Leader, Sunday school teacher, president of the United Methodist Women Group and a member of the Akron Yacht Club. Preceded in death by her husband Dallas, her son James, granddaughter Rachel Hayes and grandson Shawn Krunich. Marjorie is survived by daughters Sandra (William) Birch, Karen (Jerry) Hayes, Cindy (Larry) Nelson and Shari (Joe) Krunich; brothers Gerald Spangler and John O'Dell; grandchildren, Jim (Susan) Fisher, Jeffrey (Veronika) Fisher, Kim (Dan) Hoffman, Stephanie Birch, Cari (Brian) McCrork, Cristin (Andrew) Stout, Emilee (Jordan) Robinson, Gerald Hayes, Nikki Hayes and Jonathan Trenary; 16 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren and special grandchildren, Michele Lenke, Sherry Antal, Jessica Birch, Michael Birch and Amber Goff and 8 special great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb 8, from 4-7 pm at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, Ohio 44321. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Copley United Methodist Church.
