Marilyn Spallino

Marilyn Spallino, age 76, entered into eternal life on November 28, 2023. She was born on September 1, 1947 in Akron to the late Ignatius and Alma Spallino. Marilyn grew up in West Akron and graduated from Our Lady of the Elms. She then attended Marymount College in Florida. Marilyn then went on to become a flight attendant for United Airlines. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and was very faithful.

Preceded in death by her siblings, Susan Prexta and Jeanne Sykes; she is survived by her siblings, Barbara Spallino and Jack Spallino and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Pebble Creek Nursing Home and Direction Home for their loving care of Marilyn.

Calling hours will be 10-11am Thursday, December 7, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Ave. Akron, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
