VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Madeline L. George (Maddie) daughter of Ida May (Jones) and David Jackson passed away November 17 2004.Born Feb. 23 1924 in Akron OH. She has gone to join her husband Norman W. George who left this world Jan. 29 1983. Maddie was a resident of Stow and a member of The United Methodist Church in Stow until she moved to Shady Lawn Dalton OH where she was loved by other residents and staff. She is survived by her children Linda Ickes nee Watkins Toledo OH Archie (Charlotte) Watkins Dalton OH Bill (Elsie) Ross of Seattle WA Donna (Juaneva) Duncan nee Watkins Akron OH stepchildren Norman Jr. and Robert George and Carol Phillips. Maddie is also survived by 12 grandchildren 21 greatgrandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren special friend Evelyn Carlson the Kercenneck family who loved her dearly Bud Dorene Ron Pat Diane and many others. Special thanks to the staff of Shady Lawn Nursing Home for their loving Care. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday November 20 2004 at the Hummel Funeral Home (Akron) 500 E. Exchange Street. Pastor Jack Yeager officiating. Interment in the Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
