VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE'' Lulu (Yolanda) Zito Emanuele 92 passed away Saturday July 23 2005. Mrs. Emanuele was born in Magnolia Ohio July 17 1913. She was a graduate of Magnolia High School. She was employed at East Sparta Tile Factory. Following her marriage during World War II she was employed at B.F. Goodrich alongside her twin sister Lana. Later she worked in food service at Annunciation School cafeteria becoming manager until her retirement in 1991. During her sixty-five years as a member of Annunciation Parish she was a Eucharistic Minister past president and a life member of the Altar and Rosary Society member and past president of St Anne's Club Guild St. Monica's Study Club the Annunciation/St John's 250 Club and the Girl Scouts. She volunteered as the church sacristan for over 20 years. Lu enjoyed being a member of A.C.T.O.R at Annunciation and starred in many theatrical productions and was a founding member and president of the Akron Mothers of Twins Club. Along with her husband of 57 years the late Andrew Emanuele she was active in the Association of St Joseph at Hoban High School and the Bingo Group at Annunciation Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents Prosper and Lenora Zito sisters Mary(Duve) and Margaret (Emanuele) brothers Victor Domenic Donald Albert Anthony William Andrew and Prosper. Survivors include sons Andrew (Ann) of Tallmadge James (Debbie) of Akron; daughter Janice (Ted) Godlaski of Kentucky; grandchildren Michael (Jen) of Columbus Ohio Robert and Krissy of Arizona James (Kirsten) of Akron Matthew John Adam (Misty) Aaron and Leah Godlaski of Kentucky; stepgrandchildren Mario and Francesca Formisano and Melanie Privara. Throughout her life Lulu drew on the love and support of her fourteen siblings. She leaves behind twin sister Lana (Ambrose) of California sisters Grace (Falcone) and Dorothy (Pappano) and brother Robert and numerous nieces and nephews. The family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Summit Villa Care Center for treating Lulu like member of their family for the last four years. Mass of Christian Burial at Annunciation Church on Saturday July 30th at 11:00 am. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange St. on Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm rosary at 7:00 pm.
