Louis Kalavity

Louis Kalavity 72 of Fairlawn passed away on May 8 2004 after a short illness. Louis graduated from Central High School the University of Chicago and The University of Akron Law School. He was a practicing attorney for over 37 years and a member of The Ohio State and American Bar Associations. Louis was also a member of Cuyahoga Falls Lodge Masons. Louis was preceded in death by his brothers Andrew Gustav and William; and sister Mary Ellen Windle. He leaves his wife Karen; children Karl Kristine (Roger) Lewis Keri-Ann Kevin of Columbus and grandson; Spencer Kalavity; brothers James (Shirley) Jerry of Colorado; sisters Regina (Frank) Chema Teddy Rathbun; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 13 2004 at 10:00 at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Interment in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Fr. Jerry Hall officiating. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY on Wednesday from 5-8. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fairlawn City Women's Club Scholarship Fund c/o City of Fairlawn 3487 S.
