Linda "Linnie" Roetzel, 66 years of Akron, passed away surrounded by here family on November 16, 2021. There is a little less love on the earth, as Linda has walked into the light and love of her Heavenly Father. Most likely, she ran joyfully, as she joined her parents, John and Joanne Roetzel. They cherished Linda, and raised her to be the loving woman that she became. Every person that she met was greeted with her beautiful smile, and became an instant friend. Linda enjoyed being outdoors with her family, be it catching salamanders in the creek, swinging on the vines across the ravine, or just traipsing along with her brothers and sisters exploring nature. She was a true animal lover and every species responded in kind to her loving heart. Those of us who knew her were blessed by her unconditional love, and will miss Linda and her true heart every day.
After attending Our Lady of the Elms, Linda became a seamstress for the Country Stitches Workshop. She excelled at hand stitching, and every piece entrusted to Linda's hands was done to perfection. Following the closing of that program, Linda joined the Bravo program of UDS. She was the. best coffee maker that they ever had, earning the title of " Mrs. Folgers".
