Linda Rhodes

Linda passed away peacefully on December 26, 2023 after a short illness. She was born June 2, 1940 in Corton, WV to the late Lorren and Lorayne Wilson. She graduated from Spencer (WV) High School in 1958 and moved to Akron shortly after graduation. She retired from Summit County Department of Human Services in 2003. She helped to create a widow and widowers group entitled A New Beginning and enjoyed bringing together people through various events throughout the year.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Jack and brother Larry Wilson. She is survived by her children Jacquelyn (Bill) Roby and Jack W. "Bill" Rhodes, grandsons Mason and Marshall Copen, brothers and sisters-in-law Mike (Susan) Wilson of Kissimmee, FL and Brent (Marty) Wilson of Spencer, WV, sister-in-law Janet Wilson of Atwater, OH as well as several nieces and grand nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service was held Friday, December 29 with internment in Greenlawn Cemetery.
