Linda Hughart

Linda Gail Hughart, joined her heavenly family on Tuesday, January. 25, 2022 surrounded by family and love at her bedside.

She was met by her parents, Lou and Charlie Atwell who awaited her with open arms. They were joined by her sisters, Gladys Collie and Alma Crow and brothers, Earl Ray, Curtis and Elmer. Grandpa and Grandma Cleve Dunford along with nieces, Darlene Sweeney, Anita Pratt and Sissy Vaughan; nephews Joseph Sweeney, William Sweeney, Chuck Sweeney, her daughter Shauna Howell, grandson Joshua Hopkins and family friend Blanch Bell also joined in the celebration of Linda's arrival in Heaven.

Linda was born on October 15, 1949 in Bartley, WV. Linda was a mother of three, but a mother, friend, and safe harbor or a warm meal for countless others as she lived her life in service to her fellow man. She never met a person she didn't call a friend or someone in need she would refuse to help.

Survivors include her sister Debra (Curtiss) Richards of Dorset; and brother, Douglas Atwell of Garrettsville, her sons Jeph (Barbara) Hopkins of Garrettsville, Brett (Tracie) Hopkins of Holly Hill, SC, and Matthew (Holly) Hopkins of West Farmington. Other nieces and nephews are Thurmon (Jean) Vaughan of Dorset, Casey Vaughan of Oak Hill, WV., Lurell (Wendy) Vaughan of Logan, WV., Lucy (Butch) Malczewski of Ga., Nikki Sweeney of Kingsville, Chastity (Ryan Fields) Sweeney of Madison, Angel (Joe McKinley) Sweeney of Little Rock, AK and Jeremy Pratt of Ashtabula; her grandchildren are Keelie, Allie, and Berklie Hopkins of SC, and Tyler Hopkins of Cincinnati.

Linda had requested no services, but taking time each day for a kindness to another is appreciated.
