Leonard "Len" (Lenny) B. Bolden III, age 67, passed away suddenly on January 7, 2026, at his home in Chesterland, Ohio.
Born on May 27, 1958, in Akron, Ohio, Len was the son of Leonard B. Bolden Jr. and Emaline Bolden. He grew up in Akron's North Hill neighborhood and was a graduate of North High School and The University of Akron.
Len enjoyed a successful sales career spanning more than 40 years in the Cleveland area. In 2018, he became the owner and President of Keybase LLC, an IT staffing firm based in Strongsville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Len is survived by his brother, Bruce (Desiree) Bolden of Akron; his niece, Caitlin Bolden of Knoxville, Tennessee; his nephew, Ian Bolden of Brooklyn, New York; and many friends and extended family members.
Len had a lifelong love of horse racing. He owned racehorses in Cleveland and cherished his annual trips with friends to the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes. Known for his quick wit, warm smile, and a cigar often close at hand, Len never met a stranger and brought laughter wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visiation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Hummel Funeral Home, 2800 West Market Street, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333.
