Lawrence Swain

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Lawrence Swain 70 of Copley died November 22 2007 at Hospice Care Center. Larry graduated from Highland High School in 1956. He worked for Motor Cargo/Consolidated Freightways for 35 years. For 12 years he served as Union Steward for Local 24 in Akron. He was a lifetime member of Mt. Zwingli United Church of Christ where he faithfully served in many capacities. He served as a Deacon Elder and was President of Consistory for many years. Lawrence was preceded in death by brothers Richard and Bruce. He is survived by his wife Peggy and their children Pam (Mark) Doubell Sandy Wiggins Larry (Jenny) and Curt (Melissa); grandchildren Michael Nick Tyler Meagan Matt Lindsey Clay Olivia and Gage; sisters Doris Swain Carol (Chuck) Miller and June (Art) Conway and brother Ted (Cheryl) Swain. Funeral Services Monday November 26 2007 at 11 AM at Mt. Zwingli United Church of Christ 2172 S. Medina Line Rd Wadsworth OH 44281. where interment will occur.
