VIEW MEMORIAL PHOTO TRIBUTE Lawrence Muschkat 88 passed away March 10 2008 with his loving family at his side. A life long resident of Akron Larry was born to Anthony & Marion Muschkat on February 11 1920. He attended St. Bernard's School and graduated from Buchtel High School. He served in the army during World War II was stationed in Hawaii trained as a paratrooper and served in Germany. He was in sales at Nickles Bakery and then in sales and production at Reiter Dairy retiring in 1982. Larry was an avid golfer and gardener. He spent many years singing for St. Bernards and with the St. Peter's and St. Francis de Sale's choirs. His wonderful tenor voice was enjoyed by many throughout his life. He enjoyed sharing his garden's harvests and spending time with family and friends. Playing cards and golfing with his longtime and loyal friends including: Botz Schveibinz Fogler Wetshtein Luxeder Bayer and Kaiser were treasured times. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; Anthony and Marion Muschkat brother; Tony sister; Katherine Sprenz grandson; Mark Blankenship and John Aigler III. He is survived by his loving wife Christina (Luxeder) of 62 years son; Lawrence (Barbara) Muschkat daughters; Kathleen (Larry) Quinlan Linda (John) Aigler Mary (Lee) Blankenship and Rosemarie (Stuart) Reed. Grandchildren; Monica Ericka Thomas Lindsey Stephen Patrick John Daniel Robb and Anne Marie. Great-grandchildren; Adriana Madison Logan Thomas Jr. and Tabitha. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday March 15 2008 at 10:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Church 4019 Manchester Rd. Akron 44319. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7 PM at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. AKRON. Donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Church. Larry's six grandsons will be pallbearers.
