Laurie Ellis

Laurie A. Ellis (nee Heavner) 44 of Clinton passed away July 20 2009 after a courageous fight with cancer. She is now at peace and will be remembered as a devoted mother to her daughter Kayla. Laurie is survived by her husband Bruce; daughter Kayla; parents George and Judith Heavner; mother-in-law Dorothy (Ken) Ellis; brother Tim Heavner; sister Cheryl Lawler; and many other friends and family. Family will receive friends at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd on Monday July 27 2009 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon. A private family inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Summa 444 N. Main St Akron OH 44310. Laurie's family wishes to thank the Norton Soccer team for their support and meals over the past several months. Laurie also wanted to specifically thank Kathy Rev. Mike Michelle and Yvonne for their never ending generosity and kindness.
